The frontend of MaizeSpy is an intuitive, user-friendly web interface where users can upload images of maize leaves for disease detection. It provides a smooth experience for submitting detection requests, viewing status updates, and receiving results in real-time. The interface is designed for easy navigation and optimized for agricultural use, helping farmers and researchers quickly identify potential issues in maize crops.

The backend, built with FastAPI, handles the processing of disease detection requests. Using Huey for task management, the system processes each request asynchronously, running deep learning models to evaluate leaf images for signs of blight, rust, or other diseases. It updates the status of each request in real-time and delivers the results once the model completes its analysis. This architecture ensures scalability and efficient processing, vital for large-scale agricultural applications.
